MILITARY WOMEN'S COLLECTIVE WELCOMES YOU!
Connecting Women Warriors: Together We Can!
Our Mission, Vision and Values
Mission:
Military Women's Collective (MWC) is committed to ending the epidemic of women veteran suicide by uniting military-affiliated women in their communities. We foster connections, provide mental health resources, create opportunities for adventure and personal growth, offer career mentorship, and provide the ongoing support women veterans need to help them navigate the challenges they face after leaving the military.
Vision:
MWC envisions a future where women veterans are fully supported in their post-service transitions, equipped with the tools and community connections they need to thrive. We create an inclusive and empowering network that assists every woman veteran in leading a fulfilling and resilient life, with access to mental health resources, career counseling, and peer mentorship, free from the crisis of veteran suicide.
Values (C.A.R.E.S.):
-
Connection: We foster meaningful connections among women veterans, helping them build strong, supportive networks.
-
Adventure: We encourage personal growth and exploration, providing opportunities for women veterans to embrace new experiences, challenges, and career development.
-
Resilience: We empower women veterans to build resilience and strength in the face of adversity, promoting mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
-
Engagement: We actively engage women veterans by offering resources and opportunities for personal growth, leadership, career advancement, and professional development.
-
Support: We provide ongoing support and create spaces where women veterans can connect and find the resources necessary for a successful transition to civilian life.
“Women belong in ALL places where decisions are being made.
It shouldn't be that WOMEN are the exception.”
Ruth Bader Ginsburg
